Hey Friends,

Today I am going to provide you a short summary of a novel Godan by Munshi Premchand.

GODAN(The Gift Of Cow)
By Munshi Premchand

Godan (the gift of cow) , published in 1936, remains Premchand's best-known work.
It is an epic of Indian peasantry. The novel tells the moving story of Hori , his wife Dhania , a peasant couple. Landlords, moneylenders , priest & colonial bureaucrats form a network of oppression , rob their land and make them into landless labourers . Yet Hori & Dhania retain their dignity to the end.

THE TRAGEDY OF HAMLET (SHAKESPEARE)

                            THE TRAGEDY OF HAMLET

                              by William Shakespeare

Hey Friends,

Today, I am going to provide you our views & short summary on one of my favorite novel "THE TRAGEDY OF HAMLET".A download link will be provided at the last of the post.

According to me it is one of the tragic, vengeful and heartfelt novel that I have read .
The lines I loved were written by Prince Hamlet to Ophelia;his one true love:-
"Doubt the stars were fire.
Doubt the sun doth move.
Doubt truth to be a liar.
 But never doubt my love."

SUMMARY
The novel depicts the dilemma of the Prince Hamlet whether he should take revenge of his fathers death or not.His Uncle Claudius killed his father for his greed to become the king and marries the Queen. Hamlet feels betrayed by his mother. He met his fathers ghost who told him the truth of his death and unveiled the murderer. Then hamlet plans to take a revenge for his fathers death. Shakespeare end the novel in a very tragic way by killing every main character.

MY VIEWS
Although the novel was a treat to read but the ending was harsh and not acceptable. The novel was a complete package filled with drama and the love story of Hamlet was like an icing on the cake.Shakespeare's plays have a difficult literature so I prefer to read the illustrated novels.
